Rita Millat

In September 2017 Rita decided to leave the corporate world and be a full time artist .

Since moving to LONDON in 2006 from Lebanon , she started to express herself as a woman through ART : " I never painted female nudes before moving to the UK, it's where i felt safe and free"

Her paintings are a reflection of her life from being a teenager to this day , she captures her feelings and transforms them into colourful ART, turning her pain , rejections and sadness into beauty.

"ART SAVED ME "

Having been born in Iraq and survived THE GULF WAR in 1990, the only way for her to describe her feelings was by drawing them because words were not enough. Recently Rita's work has changed dramatically from being about the beauty and perfections of women to TAKING OFF THE MASK and showing the reality that we all hide sometimes under our daily mask.

" REMEMBER WE ARE ALL MASTERPIECES , SO SIMPLY BE YOU and LOVE THE PARTS THAT OTHERS CALL IMPERFECTIONS"
